Drawn together by their grief and loss, Soane Chase and Senator Montgomery embark on a new life together only to meet with one obstacle after another in Liv Constantine's novel The Senator's Wife.
Suspicion by their peers arise concerning the deaths of their spouses.
As suspicion, sickness, and fatigue begin to plague Sloane, her new life and happy marriage begin to take a turn for the worse.
There are several women waiting to take Sloane's place in the Senator's life.
After Sloane's surgery, things go from bad to worse and the suspense builds.
Enemies begin to surface and lives are threatened. People are dying.
When I found this psychological suspense, I opened it and I couldn't put it down.
Buckle Up!
Because the first two exciting chapters set the stage for the novel, and then the fast-paced roller coaster ride leaves the gate.
I wanted to find out what was going to happen next and ended up reading until 3 a.m. one night. I still didn't finish and had to wait until the next day to find out what happened.
This novel gets a Knives Up from me because of the premise, plot twists and turns, and the fast-paced writing.
Thank you to the Liv Constantine team--Lynn and Valerie Constantine. These talented sisters are continually writing wonderful books that keep us on the edge of our seats.
As a writer myself, bringing a novel to the point of publication is no easy task. If you enjoyed The Senator's Wife, give Liv Constantine a positive review. Other than buying their book, this is one of the most valued gifts you can offer them.
Happy Reading,
Lori
